new to longboarding..opinons on these 2 boards

Just getting started into longboarding.I got hooked while taking my sons $40 e-bay board down our street(nice long hill,no cars)
Right now I'm looking for something I can grow into.Mosty plan to do light DH,carving and would like to learn to pump.Maybe someday slides but thats not on my mind just yet.The 2 boards I have been looking/researching are the Rayne Vendetta and the Garvity Kalai(reg).Would one be more suited than the other? How about some wheel,bearing and truck recommendations as well.Thanks,can't wait to get going!
I should add I weigh 190#
